Hello, Registrants! We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. If for any reason you can't make it, please kindly unregister or send an email to Elizabeth Gibson so we can get an accurate number of attendees for lunch preparation and for making copies of the day's study guide. Thank you!
About The Class
In this study session, we'll read through the Buddha's Fire Sermon and related suttas on the three fires (also frequently referred to as the "three poisons"), along with commentary from a variety of teachers and meditators to help us consider and digest the teachings.
We'll also explore the internal and external conditions that give rise to greed, ill-will and delusion, and we'll also explore what the burning feels like inside ourselves, and some practices and teachings that can help us put the fires out. There will be multiple meditation sittings as well as multiple opportunities for discussion and Q&A.
