Half Retreat with Therese Fitzgerald

Sunday April 11, 1:00pm - 6:00 pm

Zoom - Details to be Provided

Red Clay Sangha is delighted that Therese Fitzgerald will lead a half day retreat over Zoom. The retreat will commence at 1:00 EST (which is 7:00 in the morning for Therese in Hawai'i!)

Therese Fitzgerald

Therese trained for eight years at the San Francisco and Tassajara Zen Centers and then with Thich Nhat Hanh for fifteen years. She was ordained as a Dharma teacher by Thich Nhat Hanh in 1994. Therese lives on the island of Maui, where she is a Dharma teacher and a hospice chaplain.

Facility: This retreat will be held online via Zoom. A dedicated Zoom call event will be created and details provided to participants in advance of the retreat.

Cost: To secure a place on the retreat, we ask you to make a donation of $20, 100% of which will be directed as dana (generosity) to the teacher. Since this will not be a significant amount for the teacher, we ask you to consider a more substantial donation at the retreat. Personal finances and dana are never a barrier to receiving the dharma with Red Clay Sangha, and full scholarships are available from our accumulated fund.

Financial Assistance: Red Clay Sangha would like for every one to be able to attend, regardless of ability to pay. To achieve this goal, those who are able to do so are invited to contribute into a fund to help pay for those who are unable; and those challenged to cover the cost of the retreat are invited to indicate on their registration the extent to which they need support from the fund. This gives everyone the opportunity to practice generosity together.

Applicants for support will be notified no later than 2 weeks prior to the retreat the level of scholarship awarded.
