What is Not Self (anatta)?
A One-Day, Online Retreat with Richard Skoonberg
Saturday, February 19th, 2022, from 8:45 to 5:00
What is “Not Self”
What is Buddha’s teaching on anatta or not self? Not self is one of the Three Marks of Existence. The other two, dukkha (suffering) and anicca (impermanence) are easier to understand and see in our lives and the world around us. But not self is not so easily understood.
What is a self and how do we create our identities? Do we have more than one self? What is the source of our self/selves?
During the retreat, we will exam different teachings on anatta and how it can deepen our practice.
