Dharma Study Session

Right Livelihood

The Eightfold Path factor of Right Livelihood is where many of us spend most of our time. If you are in the paid work force, retired, a student, a volunteer, a parent, or a caregiver, you are practicing with aspects of right livelihood. Looking at the conditions of our livelihood offers a powerful opportunity to deepen spiritual practice.

This Dharma Study Session will use excerpts from the Pali Canon and commentaries about right livelihood to look at what we do to sustain our lives and ways we can balance our livelihood to align with intentions for generosity, compassion, and wisdom.

The morning will feature periods for guided meditations and practice activities. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
