Dharma Study Session

9-11:30 am

Often, people think of Koans as unsolvable riddles.  They can be used that way, but, even more than that, they are the family stories of Zen Buddhism, a way to teach profound ideas with stories.  We will use Koans from The Book of Serenity, Blue Cliff Record, The Hidden Lamp, & Book of Householder Koans.  We will explore at least 3 different ways of using Koans to deepen our practice.  No prior experience with Koans is needed.

Hybrid (on-site and via Zoom: Please join me at our sangha space or via Zoom using this link to join. (Alternatively, go to https://zoom.us/, click the links to enter a meeting, and enter meeting ID 971-373-141 and password 879550.)

When: Saturday, November 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a short break in the middle.

The session will start promptly, so please be on-time. If you are unsure of your Zoom or internet connection, please try to connect a few minutes early.
