Dharma Study Session

9-11:30 am

Description:

Often, people think of Koans as unsolvable riddles.  They can be used that way, but, even more than that, they are the family stories of Zen Buddhism, a way to teach profound ideas with stories.  We will use Koans from The Book of Serenity, Blue Cliff Record, The Hidden Lamp, & Book of Householder Koans.  We will explore at least 3 different ways of using Koans to deepen our practice.  No prior experience with Koans is needed.
