Dharma Study Session

Stories from Zen & The Oxherding Pictures

with SoKai Charli Vogt

9:00 am-12:00 pm, Sat Nov 23rd (Zoom)

Description:

We will be exploring Stories from Zen with a focus on the Oxherding Pictures.  Zen uses stories just like Buddha & Jesus used parables to teach things that are difficult to teach with words alone.  There will be time to interact with the stories and pictures and discuss & experience how they confirm and deepen the earlier (Pali) texts.

This meeting will be on zoom.  Please join via Zoom using this link to join. (Alternatively, go to https://zoom.us/, click the links to enter a meeting, and enter meeting ID 971-373-141 and password 879550.)

There will be a short break approximately half-way through.

The session will start promptly, so please be on-time. If you are unsure of your Zoom or internet connection, please try to connect a few minutes early.  The link will be open at least 15 minutes ahead of time.
