About the Session:

The Brahmaviharas (the “Four Immeasurables” or “Divine Abidings”)—loving-kindness (mettā), compassion (karuṇā), sympathetic joy (muditā), and equanimity (upekkhā)—are central to Buddhist practice. The Brahmaviharas work together to cultivate a mind that is open, compassionate, joyful, and balanced.

They serve as essential tools for a practitioner aiming to walk the path to Nibbana while benefiting all beings.

Incorporating the Brahmaviharas into everyday life doesn’t require dramatic changes. It’s about noticing opportunities to respond with kindness, compassion, joy, and balance in all situations. By regularly practicing these qualities, you gradually transform your own mind and behavior, leading to greater peace and harmony in both your own life and the lives of those around you.

Let's understand the Brahmaviharas and explore together on how we can live the Brahmaviharas in our daily lives as we walk on the path.

Study material will be posted close to the session.
