Mindful Moments
"Three Seasons" Movie
Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:30pm
In Person at the Sangha (Hospital Drive)
We’re eager to announce the next Mindful Moments Monthly event for June. This time, we will be watching the movie "Three Seasons". As always, this event is open to the general public, and we highly encourage you to invite others to watch this treasured anime classic. The viewing will be held at Red Clay from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June, 14. Snacks and tea will be provided for the benefit of all beings.
About the Film
Winner of many awards, this 1999 film takes place in Viet Nam, mostly in Ho Chi Minh City, while telling the story of a cyclo driver who falls in love; a woman who gathers lotuses; an American searching for his daughter.
It is a beautiful fable. Watching, we can ask ourselves—where is Buddha in this movie?
