Resilience Navigating a Troubled World
Many of us are eyeing the upcoming election with dread. We are experiencing an erosion of trust that crosses party and religious lines which has led to violence and threats directed to at election officials, teachers, poll workers and others from both sides. We are caught between wondering if we are doing enough and wanting to crawl into a hole, further separating ourselves and deepening the divisions. This session will offer some perspectives and suggest some skillful means to engage in ways that respect all our families, neighbors, and community.
There will be a short meditation. Followed by a 2 part talk and discussion with bio breaks. Food and tea will be available throughout the day.
