Zoom Study Session: the Brahmaviharas

The Brahmaviharas (or, in English, The Four Heavenly Abodes) of metta, karuna, mudita and upekkha (kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity) are a foundational Buddhist teaching, and for many are an important daily practice. This study session will consist of a mix of presented material, discussion, and group practice.

A study materials document containing excerpts from the Pali Sutta Pitaka and other texts, as well as a list of recommended reading, is available on the Dharma Study Session Home page.
